Judge Marilyn Milian |
Court is in session and Judge Marilyn Milian, the first female and the first Hispanic to serve on TV's The People's Court, is presiding. This take-no-bull judge is feisty, confrontational, and witty. Milian has been on the bench for sixteen years. She was appointed by Janet Reno to serve as Assistant State Attorney for the State Attorney's Office in Dade County, Florida. Later, Governor Jeb Bush appointed her to serve on the Miami Circuit Court Criminial Division. Here, she steps down from the bench for a few moments to discuss her appreciation of life, sunrises, and why she needs a pinch. What city did you travel to on your last trip? If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? Having been a part of this era of AIDS, how has it impacted you? Which living person do you most admire? Do you think there should be condom distribution in the high schools? Would you rather have a new VW Toon car, or a Turbo Porsche 911?
Have you tried any alternative therapies as opposed to Western medicine? How has the AIDS epidemic changed the way you think about life and death? |
Would you rather have a Big Mac or an array of Chinese vegetables? What brand of water do you drink? Name one of your bad habits. If you had a choice to have a dinner date with anyone from history, who would it be? If you wrote a book today about your life, what would the title be? Who is your favorite star? What can we do to help during this ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis? When you get into bed at night, do you wear pajamas, nightshirt, undies, or nothing at all? |
